Connect Zalo in three steps

Create a Zalo app at developers.zalo.me and link it to your Official Account with the article permission.
Generate a refresh token for your OA with Zalo's OAuth tool, then paste the App ID, Secret Key and refresh token into Channels, Zalo OA.
Compose with an image, tick Zalo as a target, and schedule - Crosspost refreshes Zalo's short-lived access tokens automatically.

Do I need a developer app?

Yes - Zalo's OA API works through a (free) app you create at developers.zalo.me and link to your Official Account. It is a one-time setup of about ten minutes; the connect screen walks you through what to paste where.

Why does every post need an image?

Zalo OA feed posts are articles with a cover photo - the format simply requires one. The composer will remind you if a Zalo-targeted post has no image.

Does this work with a personal Zalo account?

No - publishing needs an Official Account (OA), Zalo's account type for creators and businesses. Creating one is free at oa.zalo.me.
