Schedule Pins to Pinterest
Pinterest works like a search engine for ideas, so a Pin can keep being found long after it is posted. Crosspost connects with Pinterest's own sign-in, pins to the board you pick, and puts Pinterest on the same calendar as your Instagram and X posts.
Connect Pinterest in three steps
- Have a Pinterest account (a free business account adds Pinterest's own analytics) and at least one board.
- In Crosspost, open Channels, choose Pinterest and click Connect, then approve on Pinterest's own screen.
- Back in Channels, click Board on the Pinterest row and pick the board your Pins go to (or create one there). Then compose, tick Pinterest and schedule.
What you can post
Image Pins. The first line of your caption becomes the Pin title (up to 100 characters) and the caption its description (up to 500). You can add alt text and a destination link. A Pin carries one image, so for an image set the first image is pinned.
Titles people actually search
The first caption line becomes the Pin title, so writing it like a search phrase gives each Pin a title people type into Pinterest.
Tall images, flagged before they crop
Pinterest favours tall 2:3 Pins. Compose warns when a square or wide image may be cropped, so you can fix it before it posts.
One calendar for the visual platforms
Plan Pins next to Instagram posts and Threads carousels: the same image can go to all three from one publish.
Frequently asked questions
Which board do my Pins go to?
The board you pick for the connection in Channels. You can change it there anytime, or create a new board from the same picker.
Can I add a link to my Pin?
Yes. Add a destination link in the Pinterest options in Compose; it is the page people open from the Pin.
Can I schedule video Pins?
No. Pins from Crosspost are image Pins.
How much does it cost?
Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial (card required, cancel anytime) - paid plans from $29/month with unlimited posting. Prefer no subscription? A one-time $9.99 Week Pass covers 7 days.
