Schedule YouTube videos and Shorts
Crosspost uploads to your channel through the YouTube Data API with Google's own sign-in. Set the title, description and privacy per video, schedule it next to your other posts, and send the same clip to Instagram as a Reel and to X in the same publish.
Connect YouTube in three steps
- Have a YouTube channel on your Google account (create one at youtube.com if you need to).
- In Crosspost, open Channels, choose YouTube and click Connect. Google's sign-in opens: choose the account and channel, and allow upload and read-only access.
- Add your video in Compose, open the YouTube settings for its title, description and privacy, tick YouTube next to your other accounts, and schedule it.
What you can post
Video uploads with a title (up to 100 characters), a description, a privacy setting (public, unlisted or private) and the made-for-kids flag. YouTube itself shows a vertical video of up to three minutes as a Short.
Your title, description and privacy
Set them per video in Compose. Leave the title blank and the first line of your caption is used; leave the description blank and the caption is.
Held, not failed, at the daily limit
YouTube limits how many videos an app can upload per day. If Crosspost reaches that limit, your video is held and sent automatically shortly after YouTube's daily reset (midnight Pacific time) instead of failing.
Views, likes and comments
Analytics reads the views, likes and comments of the videos you published through Crosspost, next to your other platforms (paid plans).
Frequently asked questions
Can I schedule YouTube Shorts?
Yes. YouTube decides what is a Short: a vertical video of up to three minutes is shown as one. Upload it like any other video.
What access does it get to my channel?
Upload and read-only access: Crosspost uploads the videos you choose and reads your channel name and the view, like and comment counts of videos it published. It cannot delete videos. You can revoke access anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Is there a daily upload limit?
YouTube caps how many uploads an app can make per day. Uploads past that cap are held and go out after the daily reset. YouTube can also set upload limits on your own channel; those show as a failed post with YouTube's reason.
How many videos can I upload during the trial?
Up to 5 video uploads during the 3-day trial (and per Week Pass). Paid plans have no monthly video cap and process video in up to 1080p.
How much does it cost?
Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial (card required, cancel anytime) - paid plans from $29/month with unlimited posting. Prefer no subscription? A one-time $9.99 Week Pass covers 7 days.
