Make collab posts with friends

Invite a friend, share a draft with them, let them edit the text, and publish it yourself. When it goes out, friends who allow it are invited as collaborators on Instagram and @mentioned on X, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon.

3-day free trial on any plan, card required, cancel anytime. Or a one-time $9.99 Week Pass, no subscription.

Posting together, without sharing logins

Friends by link or by email

Send an invite link or an email; you become friends when they accept. Collab itself is free on every plan, and nobody shares a password or an account.

Shared drafts with a history

Share a draft as view-only or editable. Friends can edit the text, every edit is kept in the draft's history, and only you publish it, on your own accounts.

Instagram collaborators

When you publish a shared draft to Instagram, up to 3 friends who have their own Instagram connected and allow tagging are invited as collaborators. Instagram sends the invite; if it refuses, the post still goes out without them.

@mentions added for you

On X, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon, Compose adds your friends' handles to that platform's caption. You see them under each account and remove any with one click; on Bluesky they become real mentions.

Tagging stays your friend's choice

Every friend has a may-tag-me switch. Turned off, or after unfriending, they are left out of new collaborators and mentions, checked again at the moment a post publishes.

How it works

  1. 1

    Invite a friend

From Collab, copy an invite link or send it by email.

  2. 2

    Share a draft

Pick a draft and share it view-only or editable; edits land in its history.

  3. 3

    Publish together

Publish or schedule it: collaborators and mentions are added where your friends allow.
