Gaming Trends: Week of Oct 12-18, 2026

Your audience is locked on gameplay and setup content this week, with Roblox and Marvel Rivals breaking through as fresh gameplay angles worth exploring. These aren't flash trends-they're showing real persistence across multiple days, so there's genuine creator interest here. On the evergreen side, Counter-Strike 2, Fortnite, and Minecraft continue their steady pull, meaning your core audience hasn't moved. The setup content category is thriving too, from full room tours to specific details like cable management and RGB aesthetics, which tells you people are hungry for both inspiration and practical organization ideas. Where the platforms diverge is interesting: TikTok and YouTube are syncing on Minecraft horror series and speedruns, suggesting short-form and long-form audiences overlap on these formats. X is pushing gameplay clips harder. Pinterest is catching the aesthetic angle-minimalist desks, board game shelving-which means there's crossover potential if you're filming setups with visual polish in mind. Next week, lean into the Roblox and Marvel Rivals gameplay content while it's hot. Film a setup tour that doubles as an aesthetic piece rather than pure utility. Test a Minecraft horror series or speedrun if that fits your style. The data suggests mixing gameplay clips with environment content will keep you hitting multiple platforms at once.
